Contest Ends May 10, 2019
Art in the Hollow invites artists and graphic designers to submit original artwork representative of the East Side to be used as our community filter in Swede Hollow Park.
Please submit your designs to artinthehollowmn@gmail.com with the subject heading "Snapchat Design Contest."
***We will choose a winner, but it is up to Snapchat to approve or deny the design. With your submission, include some things you love about the East Side, Saint Paul, Swede Hollow Park, or your community in general. We will include that when we send the submission in as it is beneficial in the approval process.***

A few tips:
- Canva.com is a website used for designing fliers, posters, cards, and other graphics. There is an array of Snapchat filters available on their site. Though we do not encourage the use of other people's designs or Canva's array of free graphics, it may be a good platform to use and get a sense of layouts and dimensions, especially if you are not using Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Feel free to Google Community Filters for inspiration and to get a feel for layouts. Please do not plagiarize other works. We want to see unique and original designs!
- If you prefer to paint, draw, or create your design using a non-digital medium, please make sure you adhere to the dimensions specified by Snapchat and that you scan and upload your design into the formats accepted by Snapchat: Illustrator, Photoshop, or PNG (with transparency enabled).
