SUPPORT LOCAL ART AND THE SWEDE HOLLOW COMMUNITY
Art In The Hollow provides an opportunity to support local visual and performing arts, educate the public on the Swede Hollow history, promote community nonprofit organizations and businesses, and most importantly, contribute to the vitality of the neighborhood.
We would like to thank our previous funders, donors, sponsors and community partners for making Art In The Hollow a possibility. We are about to publish our current supporters.

Thanks to this landmark legislation there is funding for many grant-awarding arts organizations which is available to them on a a competitive basis. The Metropolitan Regional Arts Council gets some of its funding through this and we won a grant from them for Art in the Hollow.
Ann Millikan is a fiscal year 2011 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is funded, in part, by the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
A faithful supporter from year one has been Pepsi company, providing a cash match and also in-kind donation. We are honored and delighted to be consuming and promoting their fine products.
We are delighted with the timely generosity bestowed on us by this friendly neighborhood bank on Payne Avenue. They help make dreams come true!

Just across from the entrance to Swede Hollow at 665 Payne Ave. is La Palma. Don't be fooled: it is not just a supermercado! Deep inside is one of the most authentic Latin eateries in the state: three kinds of rice, rich refried pinto beans, several meats in smoky chipotle sauce, papusas, tamales, eggs simmered in sauce, huevos y chorizo, chilaquiles... all waiting for your selection to be served with salad, tortillas, and pico de gallo for the asking. The luncheon special every day is 2 chicken enchiladas, choice of rice, beans and salad for $5.99. Just because they gave Art in the Hollow a generous donation didn't mean I HAD to eat there 4 days in a row!
DonorsMike Grealish - our neighborhood good guy and protector of Swede Hollow. Also, host of Josette's Cafe for artists! Thank you for your generous contributions of time, talent and legal tender. Kim Esch - a staunch supporter of the arts and neighborhood-building activities.
JAVA PROPERTIES - Chad Blihovde is supporting our neighborhood not only by trying to find owners and tenants for charming old buildings, but by helping attract people and artists to the area through events like ours.
A big shout out for the generous donation from dear Dave at Dave's Muffler Repair on Payne Avenue. His is a small shop with a big heart. They have been doing great, affordable work in our neighborhood for 25 years. You and your car will love him.
