Karin DuPaul is the President of the Friends of Swede Hollow and has been working on Swede Hollow projects and issues, since the 1970’s when the park was being planned. Karin and Angela DuPaul are now working on a picture caption history book of Swede Hollow and looking for more Swede Hollow photos.
Karin received a LIN grant from the Saint Paul companies in 1999 and the Parks Person of the Year from Friends of the Saint Paul and Ramsey Parks and Trails in 2005 (I think). Presently she is Chair of the Dayton’s Bluff Living at Home Block Nurse Program. Karin has been on the board (a working board) of the Dayton’s Bluff District Forum community newspaper since the 1980’s. For the last 15 years her day time job is the Community Organizer of the Dayton’s Bluff Community Council.
